Arsenal’s meticulous transfer strategy could once again lead them into Germany’s talent pool, as reports suggest the North London club are eyeing Eintracht Frankfurt’s rising full-back Nathaniel Brown . The 22-year-old, currently valued at €60 million (£52m) , has emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s most versatile and technically gifted defenders — and while a deal is far from simple, Mikel Arteta is believed to be keeping close tabs on his development. According to Fichajes , Arsenal are one of several European powerhouses monitoring Brown’s situation, with Real Madrid and Manchester City also expressing interest. The Gunners, who have rebuilt their squad on youth, tactical adaptability, and elite athleticism, see Brown as a player who fits their long-term project. A Defender with a Modern Edge Nathaniel Brown’s rise in the Bundesliga has been rapid and well-earned. Arsenal Eyeing Eberechi Eze

Arsenal are reportedly preparing to step up their pursuit of Eberechi Eze, the Crystal Palace playmaker who starred in their FA Cup final triumph and earned international caps with England this summer. The Athletic’s Ben Jacobs via talkSPORT first broke the news that a potential offer could be made imminently. With Eze open to a move and personal terms reportedly agreed, all eyes are now on whether Arsenal will meet Palace’s pricing demands to push the deal forward.

Crystal Palace have a firm release clause in place worth around £68 million, reportedly including £60m guaranteed and up to £7.5m in add-ons. Sources indicate Palace expect at least £35m upfront if the clause is triggered. However, Arsenal are said to prefer negotiating a deal below £60m, potentially structured with instalments and player-plus-cash components, rather than activating the clause outright.

According to Fabrizio Romano and other sources, Eze’s release clause expires today - just two weeks before the Premier League season kicks off. Unless Arsenal activate the clause by then, any prospective deal would require negotiation directly with Crystal Palace. So far, no official club-to-club talks have been confirmed, though Eze is understood to be keen on returning to north London and personal terms are done.

Arsenal have already spent over £200 million this summer on talents such as Gyökeres, Zubimendi, Madueke, Norgaard, Mosquera, and Kepa. As the Gunners shift focus to securing an attacking midfielder, the potential departures of fringe players like Trossard, Sambi, or Zinchenko could free up space for Eze. However, key figures like Martinelli are reportedly not for sale.

While competition for Eze includes major clubs like Bayern Munich and Liverpool, Arsenal currently appear to be front-runners according to betting odds, with Ladbrokes pricing them at 1/4 favourite to land the deal. Their rivals, including Bayern and Chelsea, sit further behind in the betting despite interest.

All parties now await Arsenal’s formal move to Crystal Palace—and time is running out. Eze continues to impress in training and remains motivated to return to Arsenal, the club that released him as a teenager. Whether the Gunners opt for a clause trigger or negotiation, the next 48 hours could define the outcome of this transfer saga.
